hyperDENT Library Instructions

  1. Download Badger Screw Library for hyperDENT

2. Insert the unzipped file into the “CAM Geometries” file location where your Hyperdent information has been saved.

3. Make sure you are milling with geometries. Templates are often called “Direct w/ Geo”.

  • Here is how to tell if you are milling with geometries or not.
    • 1. You have and use the 1.5mm Bullnose and T-Cutter tools regularly. This typically means you already have the ability to mill with geometries.
      • Milling with the tools that hyperDENT recommends will set you up for machining success.
    • 2. Check to ensure your templates have access to geometries.
      • After loading a part into a new project, select the Identify Part Features icon

  • Then navigate to the “Implant Interface” tab

  • In the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, the type of geometry determination should be highlighted as “External”. Additionally, the screw channel and abutment base interfaces on your part should be highlighted as shown below.

4. If you are not milling with geometries, reach out to your hyperDENT distributor/service representative to integrate your templates with geometries.
